Depending on who you talk to...today is a sad day. If you ask that toxic dude that you know that objectifies women, sees them as objects to be owned and controlled and thinks he deserves a submissive woman who adores him even though he's future 2.0 then yes, today is a sad day as word on the wire is that Kevin Samuels, the controversial youtube "relationship guru" has passed away at the age of 56. If you ask 90% of black women in America....it's Thursday. I know, I know...I'm a heartless bitch. But not actually. I believe in having reverence for life. I respect the flesh while it's living and breathing. Once it's passed... it's passed, and I like several other hundreds of thousands of black women have sat and watched the clips of Kevin Samuels sitting behind his pc with his glasses and tailored suit, reading women to filth, calling them 6's because they have natural faces and bodies, and telling them they will never find love because they're old, or out of shape or single mothers. None of which is true by the way. If you are like so many of the toxic, niggerly bears that subscribe to his ideology of hatred disguised as "unsugar-coated truths" then you think we lost an icon. In actuality he was divisive and a dream killer.I have never, ever,ever sat through 1 single Kevin Samuels live stream. I find no joy or enjoyment in watching people get torn down for the sake of entertainment. I have like so many, saw the cliffs notes and I don't see any of this as a loss. I'm not sorry about death ever. It's a part of life.
I can see how dangerous it is to build an empire on pain and tears. Sadly, not enough of us are legacy minded. You make a name for yourself denigrating black women and it seems that superstars are being made overnight especially when it comes to putting down and belittling black women. There were a few other podcasts that went viral from shitting on black women. Ya'll know who I'm talking about. What they, much like the late Samuel's didn't get,is that there's been a spiritual shift. The 400 year curse is up. Any one trying to come up on the backs of denigrating black men and women will not prevail...yes,even if they too are black. Watch your mouth when you're speaking to me or about me. Black men and women are being ushered back to their rightful places and if you're not prepared to get in line with that be prepared to be struck down or pushed aside. It's above us now. I mean...sorry to this man though. I guess if 2022 teaches us anything it's that black women are done playing the punching bags. As we should be.
